This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the English version of the PIKARI website (prices in US dollars). It is part of our Privacy Policy.
On this page
The short version
- We do not set any cookies of our own, and no third-party cookies are set on our pages today.
- We use no analytics, no advertising or tracking cookies, no tracking pixels and no session recording.
- Your browser's local storage keeps two small things on your device: your cart and your language choice. That is all the website needs to work.
- Our fonts are served from our own website. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts or any other font service.
- When online payment opens, we will update this policy before the payment pages go live.
Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a website remember information on your device. Unlike cookies, what we keep in local storage is not sent to our servers with each page request.
What we store in your browser

These items stay on your device. They are never used for advertising or analytics. While online payment is being set up, your cart is never sent to us. Once it opens, your cart contents are used only to prepare your order when you go to checkout.
Our hosting provider
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. in the United States. Like any web server, Vercel's servers automatically receive and log technical information when your browser requests a page: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. We use these logs only to run, secure and fix the website. In rare cases, such as during an attack on the site, Vercel may set a short-lived, strictly necessary security cookie to check that visitors are real people. It is not used for advertising or analytics. See Vercel's privacy policy.
Fonts
The typefaces on our English pages are stored on our own website and load from there, like our images. Our Japanese pages use fonts already installed on your device. No request goes to a third-party font service.
Payments
Online payment is being set up. When it opens, the payment pages may use strictly necessary cookies set by our payment provider to process your payment securely and to prevent fraud. We will update this policy, and our Privacy Policy, to name the provider and list those cookies before then.
What we do not use
- No analytics or audience measurement tools.
- No advertising, retargeting or social media pixels.
- No session recording or heatmaps.
- No browser fingerprinting.
- No scripts from other companies.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings, usually under Privacy, then Site data or Website data. Clearing this site's data empties your cart and brings back the language banner if you had closed it.
- In a private or incognito window, both items are forgotten when you close the window.
- If you block local storage for this site, you can still browse, but your cart will not be remembered.
- We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Because we do not track you across websites, our website works the same whether or not your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal. See our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
If we ever want to add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy first. Before any such tool is switched on, we will add a way for you to accept or refuse it, and an opt-out link wherever US state law requires one.
